CHANTILLY, VA – The Business & Technology Resource Group, Inc. (BTRG) has begun migrating to Oracle Cloud for internal back office systems during the coming months, including CRM, Recruiting, Marketing, HCM, Financials, and Project Management. This migration will be extensive, as they will move from an architecture of Salesforce.comand QuickBooks to a unified approach within Oracle Cloud.
“Oracle’s cloud solutions are gaining market share and BTRG wants to be a leader,” said Jeff Goddard, BTRG President and Founder. “Our transition from Salesforce.com to Oracle Sales Cloud as well as HCM and Financials will certainly set an example for our customers. It’s an exciting move that opens a new chapter in BTRG’s history.”
After years of managing disparate systems, Oracle Cloud now offers BTRG the ability to seamlessly integrate backend ERP and HCM systems with CRM and Marketing onto one platform – allowing easier information sharing and more informed decision-making capabilities.
Oracle’s total cloud revenue rose 32% in the last quarter –twice last year’s growth rate. Oracle Founder Larry Ellison said, “We added more ERP customers in the Cloud this past quarter than Workday (WDAY) has had in the life of their company.”
As a longtime Oracle Platinum Partner, BTRG is making this move not only to improve efficiency in internal operations, but also to launch their Oracle Cloud Practice. With Oracle Cloud, organizations have the flexibility to customize the product to their own specific needs. It is built on Oracle’s hardware/infrastructure and can still be integrated with on-premise applications.
“After 20 years as a leader in PeopleSoft implementation and upgrades, I am incredibly excited to expand our offering to the next generation of software systems,” said Robert Fox, BTRG Oracle Practice Director. “As our company migrates to Fusion and Taleo applications, we are strategically positioned to offer our customers the ability to adopt HCM and ERP Cloud services.”
