Abstract: The central tool driving the revolutionary new PeopleSoft Selective Adoption model is the PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM). Staring with PeopleSoft 9.2, PeopleSoft Selective Adoption model and PUM have changed the traditional maintenance process. As new PeopleSoft Update Images are delivered, customers are able to adopt improvements on a frequent basis to improve current business processes.

Objective 1: The session will focus on decision points, framework, methodology and advantages / disadvantages of this new world for PeopleSoft customers

Objective 2: The session will include a real life example of an effective use of the PeopleSoft Selective Adoption approach for a customer that was implementing two additional modules on an existing PeopleSoft HCM instance

Abstract: Help prevent data breaches by rapidly finding vulnerabilities and security data within PeopleSoft. In this session, we will take a deeper dive into cyber security for PeopleSoft. Learning how to quickly take steps to mask, encrypt, and security PeopleSoft. Learn how to mask data in one step with NO CODING. How to create a vulnerability scorecard and encrypt data files as well as other steps to further enhance security. Don’t be tomorrow’s headline, take steps to secure your environment now.

Objective 1: Learn about how security improvements, encryption and data masking can assist with compliance (HIPAA, PCI, FERPA, etc).

Objective 2: Discover how to use out-of-the-box PeopleSoft templates for security.

Objective 3: Determine how to discover sensitive data within your PeopleSoft application.
