My name is Jim Scagnelli. I’m a Supply Chain Solutions Architect in the PeopleSoft practice of BTRG. I’ve been in the IT industry for twenty two years and I have been implementing and upgrading PeopleSoft applications since 1994. For the last fifteen years my focus has been PeopleSoft’s Supply Chain Management modules and I am PeopleSoft SCM certified. I’m also an active member of two prominent professional supply chain organizations, APICS and ISM. I’ve earned my Certified in Production and Inventory Management accreditation from APICS and my Certified Purchasing Manager accreditation from ISM. I’m currently working toward my Certified Supply Chain Professional accreditation from APICS.
The purpose of this blog is to share with you my experiences, “the good, the bad, and the ugly”, regarding PeopleSoft SCM initiatives. Also, as a frequent presenter and attendee at conferences I’ll bring back and share information with you on topics that I’m sure will peak your interest. I know many of you have been working with PeopleSoft SCM applications for many years and I’m hoping you’ll be willing to share your experiences as well with the readers of my blog.
Hopefully, you will find this BLOG a useful forum for sharing ideas and pertinent information regarding the PeopleSoft SCM suite of applications. Please feel free to comment, ask questions, and provide input to the Blog.I will be doing my best to post as often as I can so be sure to come by and visit often.
