BTRG Announces Venessa Pieri
as the New Oracle Partner Manager

Easthampton, MA, March 15, 2011 — BTRG announced today that Venessa Pieri has joined BTRG in a new role as Oracle Partner Manager. The Oracle Partner Manager role is a full time senior position at BTRG focused on maintaining our on-going relationship with Oracle and strengthening their visibility into client delivery.
Venessa Pieri has been a BTRG employee since December 2004 when she came on board as a supply chain management consultant. Throughout the years, Venessa has demonstrated expert knowledge of PeopleSoft Enterprise as well as a genuine concern for delivering client value and being accountable for client satisfaction, both of which make her the ideal person for this role.
“Oracle is our largest partner and because we have several shared, high profile, customers they take a keen interest in our ongoing projects. We felt it was the right time to provide the Oracle applications sales team with a dedicated point of contact”, says Rob Fox, PeopleSoft Practice Manager.
As BTRG’s Oracle Partner Manager, Venessa will be responsible for cultivating relationships among Oracle’s applications sales teams and channel management. Venessa will be building channel relationships into the regional and vertical markets where BTRG holds either a niche or leadership position. “Not only does Venessa’s background as a PeopleSoft consultant enable her to speak knowledgeably of our core capabilities during the pre-sale process, but her experience as a PeopleSoft implementation and upgrade project manager equips her to serve as an effective conduit for on-going project feedback”, says John Bonin, senior manager, sales and marketing at BTRG.
In addition, Venessa will also be responsible for renewing BTRG’s partnership with Oracle and maintaining our status as a Platinum Partnership. As an Oracle Platinum Partner, BTRG is required to maintain a minimum of five specializations. BTRG’s specializations concentrate around the organization’s core areas of expertise including PeopleSoft Financials, PeopleSoft Human Capital Management, PeopleTools, Hyperion Budgeting and Planning, and Oracle Essbase.
Acquiring and maintaining these specializations reflects BTRG’s commitment to Oracle technologies. It also requires BTRG to maintain a staff of Oracle certified consultants and a host of demo and development environment. Venessa will assume full responsibility for BTRG’s Oracle partnership – from developing relationships, to resolving issues, to ensuring BTRG meets the partnership renewal requirements.
