Single Sign-On | SSO from SharePoint to PeopleSoft

InFlight™ offers one of the most secure single sign-on (SSO) tools in the industry. Based on a combination of embedded RSA-signed HTTP headers, configuration of PeopleSoft's Pluggable Encryption Technology, and custom Sign-on PeopleCode, we are the only SSO solution to sign and verify the user ID in the header of each request.

The identity information is derived from the SharePoint identity, which does not necessarily need to be the Windows user identity. Once the user has logged into SharePoint, by whatever means you've allowed, his SharePoint identity is mapped to his PeopleSoft identity, and Single Sign-on to PeopleSoft can happen. Note that our technique is not dependent on the MOSS SSO Service extensions. The below diagram illustrates our SSO solution.
