InFlight is a custom SharePoint web part that allows colleges and universities to deploy PeopleSoft content and functionality directly inside of SharePoint. For example, with InFlight you can:
- Integrate the complete student class registration process
from PeopleSoft Campus Solutions directly into SharePoint. - Extend bits and pieces of your PeopleSoft Employee Self Service
application to faculty and staff.
Whether you extend the PeopleSoft application in whole or in part is entirely up to you. Either way, InFlight’s secure single sign-on feature means once your users have authenticated into SharePoint they will not be required to log separately into PeopleSoft.
